Hello guys,

I tried Solaris 11.3 on two different Notebooks, both need the legacy nvidia driver to run. I tried two ways:

graphical with the solaris package manager (there are legacy drivers in the oracle repository)

and this way:

# pkg install --reject driver/graphics/nvidia driver/graphics/nvidiaR340

in xterm terminal. Both did not help and I did not activate the nvidia driver that way. But there also were no errors shown douring installation (graphical and via xterm session)

Any ideas?
