Today I had to rollback the OmniOS build machine on my KVM server.
The reason was, that I couldn't find a way to get grub propperly find the kernel and ramdisk files. Normally it is easy to repair this, but after number of ISO maintenance boots I decided to just rollback the ZVOLs on the SmartOS KVM host side and guess what, the old image r151014 bootet fine.

I'm now upgrading again to r151016 and the automatic build scripts will re-build all the packages since Jan 19th.

For users of the IPS repository "localhostomnios" there should be no negative impact, only some of the packages will get a fresh build timestamp. If you upgrade the system with "pkg update -v", you'll see the timestamps for the new packages displayed.
