Getting Multimedia to OpenIndiana Hipster

To get multimedia packages like vlc to OpenIndiana Hipster I'm working on some small adjustments to the spec files. The main task is unfortunatly one that could have been avoided. That is, if OI Hipster would not have removed the old SUNW legacy package names, then it would be a lot less work to do on the SFE side. The old legacy package names like "SUNWzlib" for library/zlib enables us to check for dependencies in the old SVR4 package format. That has been a reliable source to check for installed prerequisite packages accross differen OS-distro in the past but is now gone for the OI Hipster distro. But fortunatly in SFE with the pnm_macros, we can switch back and forth between the different OS-distro during package compile time. That way we always get the apropriate package name into the "Required" lists. I personally would have just peferred to let the old legacy package names stay present in the package metadata...So please stay tuned. If no show stopper appears, we'll have vlc for OpenIndiana Hipster soon.Regards,Thomas
